Marketing Business Development Representative

World Synergy is looking for our next Marketing Business Development Representative. This person is responsible for generating new business and driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying leads. This role requires a strong understanding of Marketing and the ability to articulate its value proposition to prospects.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities by researching and reaching out to potential clients via email, phone, and other marketing channels.
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to appointment, including lead qualification.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing and professional services to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies.
  • Continuously learn and stay up to date on Marketing products and services, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-Level Executives to uncover business needs, upcoming projects, and business opportunities.

Career Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools, such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or HubSpot preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous B2B sales experience preferred.

The ideal candidate for this role has a strong understanding of the value of Marketing and processes and can effectively communicate its value to potential clients.  They are self-motivated, organized, and can work independently or as part of a team.

Entry Level Outside Sales

We are looking to fill an immediate opening for an Entry Level Outside Sales Representative. This person will initiate contact with prospective clients and create proposals that will successfully meet the potential client’s needs.  This Outside Sales Representative’s responsibilities include traveling to assigned territories to directly meet with prospects as well as meeting virtually as needed. This person is assertive, goal-driven, and has a great desire for long term personal growth.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Qualify prospects within assigned territory and build a consistent pipeline to meet sales goals.
  • Update and track daily activities in database and continue to move prospects through the sales cycle.
  • Continuous and regular follow-up with warm leads.
  • Attend networking events to source for leads.
  • Meet decision makers and present services.
  • Ability to scope, quote, and close business opportunities.
  • Able to work from home and office.

This Sales Account Manager will handle existing accounts in our Marketing space.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Forecasting and monitoring account metrics for each marketing client
  • Translating technical issues to business impact risk for clients
  • Communicating progress of quarterly, monthly, and yearly initiatives to stakeholders
  • Preparing account reports as requested by clients or supervisors
  • Create and provide estimates to clients managed as needed
  • Collaborating with other teams and departments to meet client needs and create new opportunities
  • Ensuring timely and accurate delivery to meet customer needs and expectations
  • Providing customer service to clients on all assigned accounts
  • Negotiating contracts in the best interests of clients and organization
  • Developing beneficial working relationships with all relevant stakeholders as well as vendors
  • Escalating and managing client issues internally
  • This person should be able to attend in person office meetings based on company/client needs
Skills preferred:
  • Analytical skills to review client data
  • Customer service experience to handle clients and customers from different industries and backgrounds
  • Problem-solving abilities to help meet customer challenges
  • Prior experience with Marketing tools and solutions preferred (i.e. Hubspot, SEO, PPC, etc.)
  • Organizational ability and attention to detail to manage multiple accounts at one time
  • Time management and multitasking skills to transition among client accounts easily
  • Negotiation skills for creating and settling contracts
  • Knowledge of the most common and most recent industry best practices
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to converse with clients
  • Previous account management of 2 or more years preferred
  • Understanding of MSP industry
